Volunteer With Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue

Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue that exists and operates because of the dedication, compassion and commitment of our volunteers. From daily animal care and enrichment to helping behind the scenes, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do and play a vital role in giving rescue animals a second chance.

Volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks depending on need, experience and comfort level, including animal care, cleaning and organization, enrichment activities, transport assistance, events and general support of rescue operations. No matter the role, every volunteer contributes directly to the well-being of the animals in our care.

Court-Ordered & School Service Hours

Wags 2 Wishes works with multiple court systems and school systems and does offer opportunities to complete required service hours.

Court-ordered and school service hours are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Not everyone who applies will be accepted.

Court-ordered hours for violent offenses cannot be accepted. For the safety of our animals, volunteers and staff, individuals with violent offenses are not permitted to work within our rescue.

If you are completing court-appointed service hours, you must upload all court requirements at the time you complete the volunteer application.

School-required service hours are also accepted and all school documentation must be uploaded with the volunteer form upon submission.
