Why Integrated, Low-Cost Veterinary Care Matters
At Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue, our mission has always been rooted in compassion, responsibility and long-term solutions for animals in need. As our rescue continues to grow, we recognized that truly helping animals requires more than rescue alone—it requires accessible, affordable veterinary care and a supportive community ecosystem.
That vision led to the creation of Wags 2 Wellness Low-Cost Veterinary Care Center, intentionally integrated with our rescue, boarding & daycare, grooming and training services. By bringing these services together under one roof we are able to create a sustainable model that benefits not only our rescue animals, but pet owners and the community as a whole.
Strengthening the Animal Rescue Community
Low-cost veterinary access is not just a benefit to individual pet owners it is a critical resource for the entire animal rescue community. Rescue organizations across our region often struggle with overwhelming medical expenses. By providing accessible veterinary services, we help fellow rescues stretch their limited resources further which allows them to take in more animals and focus on lifesaving work instead of financial strain.
This collaborative model allows us to strengthen rescue efforts beyond our own organization and create a broader safety net for animals in need.
Building Community Partnerships
At the heart of Wags 2 Wellness is a commitment to community partnership. We believe real change happens when rescues, veterinary professionals, educators and local organizations work together. Through collaboration, shared resources and mutual support, we can build a stronger, healthier community for both people and pets.
A Sustainable, Compassion-Driven Model
By integrating veterinary care with boarding, daycare, grooming and training, we create a self-supporting model that helps offset rescue and medical costs. This allows Wags 2 Wishes to remain focused on what matters most - saving lives, improving animal welfare and serving our community with integrity and compassion.
This isn’t just a clinic. It’s a commitment to pets, to families, to rescues and to a future where quality veterinary care is accessible to all.

Supporting Families, Seniors, and Pets in Need
Veterinary care has become increasingly expensive forcing many senior citizens and low-income families to make heartbreaking decisions about their pets’ care. Our low-cost veterinary clinic will be designed to remove that barrier. By offering affordable preventative care, basic medical services and wellness support, we help families keep their pets healthy, comfortable, and at home where they belong.
This proactive approach helps reduce owner surrenders, prevents medical neglect caused by financial hardship and keeps more animals out of shelters and rescues altogether.Type your paragraph here.
Investing in Veterinary Education and the Future of Care
Our clinic will be staffed by experienced, compassionate veterinarians, working alongside third- and fourth-year veterinary students from surrounding universities. This model allows students to gain hands-on, real-world experience under professional supervision, while helping expand access to care within our community.
By supporting veterinary education, we are investing in the future of animal welfare—training the next generation of veterinarians who understand the importance of accessibility, community medicine, and rescue-centered care.
