Basic Qualification Requirements

1. Verified nonprofit status

  • 501(c)(3) determination letter
  • EIN on file


2. Active rescue operations

  • Proof of intake/adoptions
  • Website or social presence


3. Application + approval

  • Completed partner application
  • Signed agreement


​Operational Requirements 


1. Designated point of contact

  • One - Two person scheduling
  • No multiple contacts and no communicating with fosters


2. Scheduled appointments only

  • No walk-ins
  • No “emergency drop-offs” unless approved


3. Consistent scheduling

  • Weekly / biweekly preferred



Financial Requirements

1. Payment policy

  • Payment due at time of service
  • OR card on file


2. Deposit requirements

  • We are not requiring deposits for rescues at this time however, any no-show appointment(s) will incur a $45 charge per animal. No future appointments will be made until the charges/payments for the no-show is made. 


3. No outstanding balances

  • Scheduling paused if balance owed



Animal Eligibility Requirements

1. Rescue ownership required

  • Animal must be:
  • In rescue name
  • Not adopter-owned


2. Accurate intake information

  • Age
  • Weight
  • Sex
  • Medical concerns disclosed


3. Health suitability

  • No unstable/critical cases


Abuse Prevention 

  • Strictly prohibit:
  • Using rescue discount for:
  • Public pets
  • Adopters
  • Friends

👉 Immediate termination of rescue partnership if violated


Partnership Expectations 

We require rescues to:

  • Help promote our spay/neuter/vaccine program by sharing our posts 2-3 times a month
  • Communicate large intakes in advance
  • Be flexible with scheduling
  • Work within clinic capacity

Wags 2 Wellness Low-Cost Veterinary Care Center was created not only to serve our local community, but also to support fellow 501(c)(3) rescue organizations who face these same challenges every day. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality care that allows rescues to continue saving lives without being limited by the rising cost of veterinary services.

Through our Rescue Partner Program, we are proud to offer discounted pricing exclusively for qualified nonprofit animal rescues, helping you focus on what matters most which is giving animals a second chance.
